Composite only, no metal, no mercury
Every filling placed at Copperstone Dental is composite: a tooth-colored resin, not the dark silver amalgam that used to be the default. There's no metal and no mercury in it, which matters most on a front tooth or anywhere else a filling would otherwise be visible when you talk or smile.
Composite also bonds directly to the tooth rather than just sitting in a drilled-out shape, which is part of why it's become the standard material for this kind of work rather than a cosmetic upgrade on top of an older method.

Catching it while it is still a filling
A cavity is a filling-sized problem for a limited window. Left alone, decay keeps working through the tooth, and the same spot that would have taken a filling can reach the nerve and turn into a root canal, or weaken the tooth enough to need a crown.
